The dilemmas a temporary warehouse can solve

The dilemmas a temporary warehouse can solve

As a business owner you're always vigilant about the amount of space you have, irrelevant of the location, be it administration, storage or production.  The amount of space you need can change quite quickly, which can make it very hard to maintain the right level of free space, especially with the associated costs of leasing space on and off site and the logistics of splitting your business over two or more locations.

When a business expands you can be faced with the task of finding new locations and new premises if it's a geographic expansion and more space close by if you're growing production for sale off site.  These types of expansion can be a worry for businesses which need a particular type of facility, as building a bespoke facility can be very costly.  If the expansion you're facing is uncertain, or you're facing a short term boom, then investing in new premises is a risky business – what will you do with that dead space when you no longer need it?

If you're just renting land and have your own structures on it, then you don't want to have to leave a bespoke building on that land when you leave (hopefully for a larger site to accommodate your expanding business), alternatively if you already have other sites where a warehouse structure could be useful you'll want to be able to relocate your structures to adapt to changing demands.

Temporary warehouses solve these problems very efficiently.  As modular structures it is very easy to change the size of your temporary building, making it larger for business growth or smaller if the nature of your business changes, or when developments in technology or packaging mean you need less space than before.  Our temporary warehouses can adapt to your changing needs, so we can support your business as it develops, meaning you're never paying for space you don't need, or pay over the odds for extra space during peak times.

Temporary warehouses can be installed virtually anywhere, and in spaces that wouldn't be big enough for a traditional building project.  This means more space can be created on site with little fuss and that's exactly what you want.  Off-site space comes with the drawbacks of extra insurance, a new process for bringing materials or product on and off your main site and the extra staffing and fuel costs this entails.  Hold ups in production or order fulfilment are common when a business is split over two locations and a temporary warehouse on site removes this problem entirely.

As we offer purchase and hire contracts we are extremely flexible when it comes to your needs.  If you need more space for a defined short term project we are ideally placed to meet that need, taking the building away when it is no longer needed and returning the ground to the same state.  We can even rent an extension to your existing building, whether that's also a temporary structure or a more permanent one.  With us you're never left with dead space which you're paying to maintain without getting any material benefit.

Our temporary warehouses are portable – if you realise you now need that extra space at a different site the structure can be relocated easily, making that extra space project as economical as possible.  You should see your temporary warehouse as an asset rather than something which merely exists to house your business operations, as you can even sell on a temporary warehouse if you no longer need it.

We understand that businesses need to be as flexible as possible when it comes to operations and logistics, which is why we do our best to provide a product and service which meets changing needs without any fuss.  Call us today on 0121 288 5440 today and let us solve some of these problems for you.
